Little Wooden Cars

Today is that big event Sunday that happens this time every year. That's right we just got back from the annual AWANA pine car derby at our church. This year marked another milestone in the Todd house. This was Jacob's first race day, so this year both boys had a car in the race. Caleb's car was painted like the CAT NASCAR race car because his initials are C.A.T. Jacob's car was an LSU Tiger themed dragster. Even though Caleb's car won 3 out of the 4 heats it raced in, there were faster cars that ended up winning the top 3 places. Jacob's car on the other hand wasn't as fast, which surprised me. The funny part is that although we didn't win any speed awards this year, Jacob won first place in design for his LSU car... right here in the heart of Texas. Oh yeah, I guess there is also some football game on today. I just love Super Bowl commercials.
